Everton have made an approach to sign Barcelona forward Malcom in the ongoing transfer window, according to Marca

The Spanish newspaper report that the Toffees have reignited their interest in the Brazilian dazzler after attempting to sign him for £31.5million in the summer.

Marca report that their latest approach has however been knocked back by the 21-year-old, who despite a poor start to life in Barcelona, has no intention of leaving the La Liga giants this month.

Good move for Everton?

100%.

Malcom is a huge talent who would no doubt light up the Premier League if given the chance, with his form for Bordeaux last season illustrating his vast potential.

The 21-year-old would bring some much-needed quality to an Everton attack which is lacking any sort of cutting edge this season, with Marco Silva’s side seriously struggling to create and score enough goals.

Likely to happen?

Unfortunately not.

Malcom is obviously keen on remaining at Barcelona despite his struggles so far at the Camp Nou, where he is on the fringes of the first-team with just nine appearances this season.

The Brazilian speedster earned a £36.5million move to the Catalan giants in the summer and is understandably desperate to prove himself at such a big club, even if current boss Ernesto Valverde is not his biggest fan at the moment.
