Leeds United have been in talks over signing Fulham trio Neeskens Kebano, Floyd Ayite and Stefan Johansen, according to the Mirror.

The newspaper claimed via their live transfer blog on Saturday that West Brom, Aston Villa and Middlesbrough have also spoken about the possibility of signing the international three players, who have been told that they can leave the struggling Premier League club this month.

It is understood that there is also interest from France and Italy for the Fulham trio, who the Cottagers are reportedly trying to offload before next week’s transfer deadline.

Good move for Leeds?

Out of the trio, Leeds fans should definitely be more excited about Norway international Johansen more than anybody, but Marcelo Bielsa doesn’t seem to keen on bolstering his central midfield options this month.

However he does appear to be taking an interest in wingers.

DR Congo international Kebano and Togo international Ayite are both versatile attacking players who can play out wide, up front or in behind a striker in a No 10 role.

Neither of them have had much game-time in the Premier League this season, but they were both key to Fulham’s promotion winning campaign last term, so either of them could be good signings for Bielsa.

Likely to happen?

A lot of clubs seem interest in these players and if Leeds were going to sign a winger this month, it would most likely be for widely-reported target Daniel James, not Kebano or Ayite.

West Brom, Villa and Boro are also interested and all three of them are bound to do more business before the end of the month.
