Grady Diangana has agreed a new £10,000-a-week deal with West Ham, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper claims that Diangana, 20, has signed a six-year deal, meaning that in total, his contract is worth £3.1million.

West Ham confirmed via their official Twitter account on Friday that the first team attacker had penned a new long-term deal with the club.

OPINION

Diangana has thoroughly deserved this new deal. Since breaking into the West Ham first team the 20-year-old has made 15 senior appearances. He scored two goals on his senior debut in the 8-0 win against Macclesfield in August and since then he has been regularly used by manager Manuel Pellegrini. He isn’t earning the mega-bucks just yet, but it is a huge show of commitment by both him and the club for him to sign a new that lasts until 2025. By the time that deal ends he will be at the peak of his career and West Ham fans will surely hope that he is still at the London Stadium, wowing supporters with his dazzling displays out on the wing. Diangana has been an unused substitute in the last two Premier League games, but hopefully he will be back in action soon enough because he showed he is a good player in the FA Cup win over Birmingham at the start of the month.
