COMMENTARY
Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton had loads of Villans supporters tearing their hair out on Tuesday as his performance was causing them to be furious with him. One Aston Villa fan claimed that Hutton definitely wasn’t a left-back when featuring in the 2-2 draw with Queens Park Rangers with another claiming that he couldn’t track his own shadow. Several even opted to urge the club to sign a replacement for Hutton in January, which clearly shows they’re sick of watching him this season. The 34-year-old, who is naturally a right-back, has regularly featured for the Villans this season and was making his 24 appearance of the campaign against QPR. Yet it is hard to disagree that the Villans need to secure a new left-back as soon as possible, as when played at the position Hutton looks like a liability that his opponents can easily expose. When playing on the right-flank the experienced defender is a useful member of the Villans squad, yet some supporters below just can’t get over how bad he is when deployed on the opposite flank.

As if I've just seen Alan Hutton try and bend an outside of the foot ball down the line.. as expected it went straight out for a throw… #avfc

Hutton about one mile away from his winger and QPR almost got a goal back. Man couldnt track his shadow. A new LB or Taylor really needed! #avfc
