Leeds United fans are braced for a major announcement from their club after a social media post on Thursday morning.
The club updated their Instagram story with a tease of someone arriving at Thorp Arch from a hotel for around midday today.
The story was picked up by a fan on Twitter, who said “Announcement incoming” and his tweet was then retweeted by the official Leeds United Twitter account.
This was then followed by another retweet from Instagram, which showed a player having his medical.
It is believed that Leeds are set to announce the signing of Kiko Casilla later today after he was due to take his medical on Wednesday.

OPINION
We’d put a lot of money on this being the arrival and unveiling of Real Madrid keeper Kiko Casilla. After the extraordinary press conference last night, it will be great to get back to football matters with the unveiling of a Premier League class player. Bielsa is then due for a press conference ahead of the Stoke game at 1pm and we’ll probably hear his plans for his new player then. Will he go straight into the side for the Championship clash on Saturday? It’s very unlikely whether he’ll get clearance in time and even if he does we doubt Bielsa will plunge him straight into action. That could mean it’s Bailey Peacock-Farrell’s last outing for a while as we’re sure that Casilla is going to take the gloves at Elland Road.
