OPINION
Bailey Peacock-Farrell has enjoyed a fairytale rise up the Leeds ranks to the first-team, where he’s Marcelo Bielsa’s regular number one.
However, there have always been murmurings from fans about whether he’s good enough and they’ve just got a bit louder after a compilation video was uploaded on Twitter.
The video is of all the goals Leeds have conceded this season and after watching it, many Leeds fans feel that Peacock-Farrell is to blame for a lot of them.
We’ve watched the video and taken in isolation and out of context there’s a definitely a case for Peacock-Farrell to answer.
However, it doesn’t show all the brilliant saves he’s made this season and how many points he’s effectively won for Leeds.
Peacock-Farrell isn’t world class yet, that much is obvious. But he’s a solid young keeper who needs to work on his positioning and distribution.
It’s rare to find a club where fans don’t criticise their keeper. Even the normally brilliant Martin Dubravka came in for some stick from Newcastle fans after gifting a goal to Man United last night.
However, with Leeds on the lookout for a new goalkeeper this transfer window, many fans want it to be a number one, with Peacock-Farrell dropping to cover.
That might be harsh but it’s high-stakes time for Leeds this season. We’d be happy for Bielsa to bring in cover for peacock-Farrell but if he can find someone better then Peacock-Farrell will just have to take it on the chin.
Here’s the video and the best reactions to it from Leeds fans:

A lot of them BPF’s fault … like him but he’s not good enough he’s gonna cost us promotion

Thanks for reply much appreciated.. Clearly we need another keeper but bpf has saved us plenty of goals/points… I do beleave we need better for promotion/premier… bpf is a good young player learning his trade everyone makes mistakes… We are still top of the pile…. #lufc

He needs to learn his trade from an older more experienced goalie Should be second choice, play in cups etc… Buy now and it will help team and BPF

I count 14 in there that a keeper in a title winning team should save!!
I’ve got 6 that I would expect myself to save, and I haven’t played in goal for real in 10 years!— Stuie Fish (@stuie_Fish) January 1, 2019

I think 10 of them are far too soft from bpf, too many that. I like him but we need better now.

His starting position is awful, gets his angles all wrong, mixed in with he's that slow to go down he goes down in instalments. If we had another keeper he wudda been dropped a long time ago. If the opposition get a shot on target it's more than likely going in.#lufc

Oh man that was a tough watch, two obvious areas that didn't looks great – goalkeeper's abilities and defending set pieces
