Leeds fans react to Bogusz signing

Leeds United have announced the signing of 17-year-old Polish midfielder Mateusz Bogusz from Ruch Chorzow, and fans are fairly over the moon with the deal. The youngster is set to join up with United’s development squad, but hopes will be high for him, and there will be a few wondering just how long it will be before he makes his bow for the first team. An energetic box-to-box player, he can score goals with ease, and has all the attributes needed to become a big hit in Yorkshire. A lot of that will come down to how his raw talent is nurtured, and in that respect Marcelo Bielsa might just be one of the best coaches he could be learning from. The Argentine demands a lot from his players, and sometimes he must think it is better and simpler just to sign youth, knowing that he can mould a player into his image, rather than having to reeducate them in his philosophy. For all of the positivity surrounding his capture, however, some Leeds fans will not rest until the club announce the signing of Swansea winger Dan James, and for all of the potential Bogusz has, many supporters will be a lot more satisfied if the next unveiling is of a player with a little bit more experience.
