Leeds 23-year-old right-back Lewie Coyle has extended his loan with Fleetwood until the end of the season, and many fans aren’t happy.

Coyle’s current loan deal was set to expire on January 6 but after talks with the League One side, Coyle will return for the rest of the season.

Right-back is a position that Leeds have struggled with this season. Luke Ayling is the number one but has suffered with injuries and his stand-in Stuart Dallas was also injured.

That left the position open to Jamie Shackleton but it also started calls from the Leeds fans for Coyle to be brought back to Elland Road in January.

That’s not going to happen now – Bielsa seems to be the only person that’s calm about the state of the Leeds squad – and the supporters are concerned, especially as Ayling doesn’t seem to be 100% match fit at the moment.

One fan said that “Andrea Radrizzani has finally lost the plot” and many others said they hoped it meant Leeds would be bringing in some incomings to Elland Road.
