COMMENTARY
Leeds United may be top of the table and Bailey Peacock-Farrell may have played in all but one of the club’s Championship games this season but it appears as though his service to the side has not been enough to stop fans from demanding his axing against Rotherham this weekend. The circumstances are of course very different to how they have been for the rest of the season – the figure of Spanish international Kiko Casilla now breathing down Peacock-Farrell’s neck – and it seems most people want to see the former Real Madrid man make his first start as soon as possible. It would be a little harsh to see the current number one lose his spot in the starting XI after all he has done but the fact of the matter is there is a title race at stake and the new arrival’s experience and quality will give them a huge boost to their hopes of glory. Peacock-Farrell is a promising young talent and could be the long term stopper between the sticks at Elland Road but for now the fans all want him out the line up to be replaced by Casilla – an understandable change, you would think.
