Leeds United are showing big interest in a deal for Swansea youngster Daniel James, according to a reliable journalist.
Alan Nixon, football correspondent at The Sun, reported on his personal Twitter account on Sunday that the Whites were in the hunt for the jet-heeled 21-year-old.
It is said that Leeds also have their eye on fellow Swans winger Jefferson Montero, and would pursue a deal for the Ecuador international if they can’t sign James.
LEEDS. Big interest in speedy winger James at SWANSEA. Would take Montero if that one fails. Want pace and width to add.

Good move for Leeds?
Absolutely.
James is an up-and-coming talent at the Liberty Stadium and has impressed in his 16 Championship appearances this season, scoring once and registering four assists.
The 21-year-old has already been capped by Wales and looks set for a big future in the game if his development continues at this rate.
The wide areas have been a problem for Marcelo Bielsa and Leeds this season, so signing someone like James or Montero would be a sensible move.

Likely to happen?
You would think that Swansea would be averse to selling one of their best prospects to a direct Championship rival, so Leeds will have their work cut out on this one.
You would think therefore that a deal for Montero is most likely, but nothing can be ruled out at this early stage.
