OPINION
Once again, many Celtic fans have their eyes on what is happening at Rangers with plenty of supporters offering their opinions on Jermain Defoe’s performance in his debut against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Wednesday night. It was a goalscoring start to life in Scotland for the ex-Tottenham forward, but it was hardly a performance that will please the Gers faithful and manager Steven Gerrard. Defoe was basically anonymous up until the point he was substituted off. His goal was nothing more than a tap-in and Gerrard’s decision to change his formation to play the Bournemouth loanee up front with Alfredo Morelos was a really poor decision. Rangers fans should see that, but it seems that Celtic fans will know it even better, despite their team playing against St Mirren at the same time. They have basically proven that Rangers’ swoop for Defoe is the biggest transfer in Scottish football for a long time.

So sevco 2-1 down and Defoe and Davis get hooked with 10 minutes to go
The pace of the game must be too much for the auld yins. ?
