OPINION
Scott Sinclair has been criticised for a lot of his performance this season, but Celtic fans were correct to lavish him with praise for his display in the 4-0 win against St Mirren on Wednesday night as the English winger showed promising glimpses of his former self. Sinclair missed a penalty at the weekend, but he did not shy away from his duties against the Buddies when he converted from the spot in the first-half. It just shows that Sinclair is confident in his abilities, and so is Brendan Rodgers. Rodgers’ support of Sinclair is clear because despite his drop in form he has stayed in the starting line-up and has continued to take penalties. It might be a bit too soon to say it but the ex-Chelsea winger could be the key to Celtic winning a third domestic treble in a row in the second-half of this season. Celtic fans will definitely be happy with that, and those who were critical of him will also be glad to see Sinclair back on form.

Sinclair has been quality so far. Has absolutely terrorised the St. Mirren defence. Definitely going to get a few more in the second-half. #CelticFC #CELSTM pic.twitter.com/FFs5rvtqit
