OPINION
If these tweets are anything to go by, it looks like the fans are rather pleased with Jordan Rossiter’s performance in this 1-1 draw against Dundee on Sunday afternoon. He was calm and very assured on the ball, and one fan even remarked how he is ‘far superior’ to Ovie Ejaria due to his work rate and intensity. This opinion is obviously open to debate as Ejaria has been decent for the Gers recently too. Another supporter has called on manager Steven Gerrard to play the 21-year-old every week in the midfield, and it is hard not to agree with them. Yes, they have been tested by this resilient Dundee side but it is clear to see that Rossiter is one of the standout players on the pitch. Gerrard has made the right call to include the young ace in his midfield, which has been highlighted by the fact that he is “exactly what we’ve been missing”.
