OPINION
It is clear from the reaction below that many Rangers fans are ready to welcome back former midfielder Steven Davis after he was linked with a January return to Ibrox. As reported by the Scottish Sun, Premier League side Southampton have given the Light Blues the go-ahead to try and sign the veteran midfielder in the upcoming market. The Saints could ask for a fee for the 34-year-old, but are willing to allow him to leave on a free transfer to thank him for six years of service. Davis was at Rangers during a highly-successful period in the club’s recent history, eventually leaving as a free agent when the club entered insolvency. These fans below are obviously ready to put that behind them and welcome Davis back to Govan, with many believing he would be the ‘ideal’ addition to a floundering midfield unit. There will be others who believe this is a bad move for the club, but these many fans below will be waiting with bated breath to see if they can pull this one off in the coming weeks.
Please make it so!!!???

Hard to argue against Steven Davis returning after the amount of games we've missed a creative midfielder this season.
I was initially not for it but now behind it.

Steven Davis on a short term deal, if affordable, is a no brainer.
