OPINION
Hal Robson-Kanu was only on the pitch for 45 minutes, but he managed to suffer the wrath of many West Brom fans for missing a couple of easy chances in the first-half against Brentford. Robson-Kanu was replaced by Dwight Gayle at half-time and although he was annihilated by supporters, he was by no means the worst player on the pitch. Jay Rodriguez, for a player of his value, experience and quality, should have had an easy hat-trick. Robson-Kanu did a lot of work to unsettle defenders and dropped deep and got wide when needed. But Rodriguez was awful in what was without doubt his worst performance in the blue and white stripes. Robson-Kanu is just a scapegoat among a section of West Brom supporters and could get a dressing down on Twitter for misplacing one pass despite having the game of his life. If someone is dropped from the attack for the next game, it should be Rodriguez, not Robson-Kanu.
