OPINION
Ryan Christie has been in absolutely sensational form for Celtic this season and he carried on tonight away at Motherwell.
He scored the first goal of the game in the 13th minute after Motherwell were temporarily down to 10 men.
Christie picked up the ball and burst through the middle, clipping it over Mark Gillespie to the delight of the visiting fans.
It was Christie’s fourth goal in the last five Premiership games and he’s quickly making himself undroppable after not getting a start in the league until the sixth game of the season.
However, Celtic couldn’t hold on and conceded a shock equaliser in the in the 88th minute that leaves them behind bitter rivals Rangers and Kilmarnock who went top.
One fan said Christie reminded him of Stuart Armstrong tonight while another said he always thought he was an outstanding signing and hated it when he kept going out on loan.
That’s looking unlikely to happen again.
Here are the best reactions to Christie’s display for Celtic tonight:

Way Christie is playing reminds me of Armstrong running between the lines, exploiting space and taking the game into his own hands, class wee player ?

Thank god we never shelled out £ millions for McGinn as Christie has had the chance to show his worth. Seems like we’ve hit the jackpot ???????

I thought Ryan Christie was an outstanding signing. Frustrated the life out of me every time he went out on loan. ?

Ryan Christie should have given the lifetime deal. What a goal that was.
