OPINION
It wasn’t just because Daniel Candeias’ third minute goal won the game for Rangers, but it was his overall display against Hamilton that had so many fans blown away him on social media during the game. Candeias has had a quiet few weeks where ridiculous suspensions have been the most publicity he has gotten. However, as one Rangers fan pointed out, the Portuguese winger was back to his best in the 1-0 win over the Accies and hopefully this is a sign that the player is about to hit his stride at just the right time of the season. Steven Gerrard and his men have a lot of games to play over the coming weeks up until the winter break. One of those games is an Old Firm clash against Celtic at Ibrox. Candeias will be key for a game like that. The Hoops can be exposed on the break and their left-back options Kieran Tierney and Emilio Izaguirre are very attack-minded, so could leave Candeias a lot of space to expose.
