COMMENTARY
It is clear to see why rival fans have been left so frustrated watching Adama Traore’s first half performance for Wolves against Liverpool on Friday night – so you can only guess how the Molineux faithful are feeling. Physically the winger is an absolute monster, possessing the pace and power that should terrorise defences and that did happen on occasion against Jurgen Klopp’s men. However, while he can take defenders on he lacks the footballing brain to make the difference which is needed up front. When he found himself in good positionsĀ he often made the wrong decision, choosing to shoot when a cross would have been better for the team, or even finding himself in an offside position when there really was no excuse to have been caught out. If he is to live up to expectation then he needs to improve his decision making in the final third, for at the moment he is more of an athlete and less of a footballer. He is frustrating the neutrals so you can only imagine how Nuno Espirito Santo is feeling in the Molineux dressing room.

This Adama Traore guy just runs around like a headless chicken. Can't ever shoot on goal. Waste.
