While West Brom have been heralded for their attacking threat in the Championship this season there are still question marks hanging over their defensive performances – doubts which can be swept away with an immediate swoop.
Ahmed Hegazi and Craig Dawson have established themselves as the first choice pairing for Darren Moore in recent weeks and things have improved at the back – but the lack of depth in quality behind the senior duo will still have the Hawthorns faithful sweating.
Summer signings Tosin Adarabioyo and Kyle Bartley have not lived up to expectation and with promotion on the line, experience and quality is needed to ensure success is forthcoming at the end of the season – which is why the club need look no further than French international Younes Kaboul.
The 32-year-old, with his 198 Premier League appearances, is a veteran of the top flight but has not played for over a year after fracturing his metatarsal, an injury which has ended with Watford revealing they have torn up his contract, leaving him as a free agent.

Now looking for a new club, West Brom have a no brainer decision to make and must be first on the phone to offer the 6’3″ giant (source: Transfermarkt) a chance at a contract.
His fitness is the only question mark hanging over him right now, having proven to possess the quality to be a success in the Premier League time and time again.
If the Baggies want to return to the promised land at the first time of asking, then these are the sort of opportunities they need to be pouncing upon.
