OPINION
Another day, another injury setback for West Ham midfielder Jack Wilshere. The summer signing managed just five appearances for the Hammers before suffering another ankle injury, with the England international then undergoing surgery to correct the issue. Wilshere had looked well set to return from that setback in the last few games, but another has now occurred and he has been ruled out of their Premier League clash against Fulham this weekend. Not only that, but manager Manuel Pellegrini has admitted “it is very difficult to know” when Wilshere will return from this latest injury, which is to do with his ‘good’ ankle [Mirror]. This is a serious blow for both Wilshere and West Ham, who have missed his presence and passing ability in midfield. Fans have now been fuming in reaction to the news, with many seemingly fed up of Wilshere’s injury issues already despite him having been at the club for just six months or so.
