OPINION
West Ham have finally announced a deal for free agent Samir Nasri, and many fans seem delighted at the prospect of seeing the France international play in claret and blue in the coming months. A potential January deal for Nasri has been on the cards for around a month now, with the 31-year-old training with the first-team squad in a bid to prove himself after an 18-month ban for doping offences. Nasri’s ability has never been in question, with the former Manchester City star a dazzling presence when on form, but his attitude has regularly come under the microscope. It appears however that he has managed to blow West Ham away with his performances behind the scenes, and hopefully he can now convert that into dazzling displays on the pitch for the Irons. He likely still has a bit of work to do on his fitness, but the creativity he can bring to the midfield could be crucial for West Ham in the coming months.
