Premier League rivals Everton, West Ham and Arsenal have all tabled formal offers to Manchester United’s attacking midfielder Andreas Pereira as he mulls over his options heading into 2019, according to UOL Sports.

The Brazilian news outlet claim that the 22-year-old is looking for more playing time under new United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but with his contract coming to an end in the summer of 2019 is also considering a potential exit from Old Trafford.

It is stated that the trio of top flight rivals have all put forward offers to the one-cap Brazilian international’s representatives as they look to seal a move, knowing that he would have to get the green light from the Manchester United board to enter talks over a deal.

Opinion

This is quite the tasty transfer battle emerging in the north west and you can see why all three clubs feel they might well be onto a bargain swoop for Pereira. Yes, he might not have done much to have convinced Jose Mourinho about handing him too much game time while in the dugout, with jsut seven outings across all competitions, but he was obviously doing something right as he earned his first minutes for Brazil back in September. Will Solskjaer’s return to Old Trafford put an end to West Ham, Everton and Arsenal’s plans to sign him up? Only time will tell, but it would seem as though there needs to be a drastic change in his game time if he is to remain with the Red Devils. Three minutes of action against Cardiff and an unused substitute appearance versus Huddersfield is better than what he was being handed under Mourinho, who had not included him for a Premier League game since mid-October, but there is still plenty more to do. Everton and West Ham might well be rubbing their hands together in glee, while Arsenal might be worried about the lack of game time they can offer.
