OPINION
Kyle Walker-Peters did okay in the crunch Champions League clash v Barcelona and it looks like he’s in line for a second start in a week against Burnley. Both Trippier and Aurier are still unavailable and that means the player fans have been clamouring for all season will get another outing. It wasn’t the best start for KWP on Tuesday. He was robbed and left for dead for Barcelona’s opening goal but it’s perhaps not surprising given his lack of action this season. He settled into the game well and he should find Burnley a slightly easier proposition. In terms of the other injuries, ti sounds like Davinson Sanchez and Juan Foyth are closest to a return which will ease a lot of the pressure in the heart of the Tottenham defence. Pochettino needs as many names back as possible as the Christmas fixture list racks up but at least he’s navigated his team through the Champions League now until 2019.
