Tottenham Hotspur will be aiming to secure a famous win against Barcelona at the Camp Nou on Tuesday to progress to the Champions League knockout stages, and Mauricio Pochettino must make three changes to his starting lineup.

Spurs know that they must at least match Inter Milan’s result against PSV Eindhoven to progress, with a win in Barcelona guaranteeing them progress whatever happens in that other match.

Pochettino has ably led his side to two consecutive victories in the lead up to this one, with wins over Southampton and Leicester filling them with confidence heading into Tuesday’s encounter.

In goal, Hugo Lloris must start as always.

There must come one change in defence amid an injury crisis at right-back, with Kyle Walker-Peters the only option remaining for Pochettino to replace the injured Serge Aurier, with Kieran Trippier already out with a groin problem.

Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Ben Davies must all retain their places alongside the rarely-seen youngster in a back four.

In midfield, Moussa Sissoko and Harry Winks must retain their places in that holding role, with Sissoko providing the brawn and Winks the brains with his precision passing.

That means that Eric Dier must drop to the bench for Spurs, with £75,000-a-week ace Lucas Moura [Spotrac] also axed as Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen return.

Their reinstatements mean that Pochettino reverts to type with Son Heung-min and Dele Alli completing a dangerous four-man attack.

Going to Barcelona is obviously a mammoth task for any side but this is a Tottenham XI which can stun the La Liga giants and secure a famous escape in the Champions League.
