Ben Davies seems to have taken Moussa Sissoko’s place as a whipping boy for Spurs fans, who have again been criticising the Wales international on Twitter after their 2-0 win over Leicester on Saturday night. Davies came back into the side for Danny Rose as Tottenham visited the King Power Stadium in a rare late weekend kick-off, and played a part in a really solid win for Mauricio Pochettino’s men. Despite the comfortable nature of their win and a rare clean sheet for Spurs’ defence, these fans have still found reason to hammer Davies for his performance at left-back. It seems as though the 25-year-old can simply do no right in the eyes of some Spurs fans, with Davies actually putting in a solid display by all accounts. Admittedly the Welsh flyer has not hit the heights of last season which saw him become Spurs’ undisputed choice in that position, but there was little to criticise on Saturday. These Spurs fans below obviously see things a bit differently though.
