It has been a humbling fall from grace for Italy international Jorginho in recent weeks, with the Chelsea midfielder going from hero to zero for the Blues with his latest displays. Saturday against league leaders Manchester City was little different, with the £57million summer signing struggling to get to grips with the City midfield despite their 2-0 win. Jorginho’s Chelsea career started so promisingly as he played a huge part in their success in the early season, but his form has taken an alarming nose dive in the last few weeks. At times it looks as though the Brazilian-born ace really struggles to handle the physicality of the Premier League, with Chelsea getting overrun in midfield too often. Obviously there are very few teams who can match the City midfield, but Jorginho really made a meal of it on Saturday. His dip in form is a serious worry for the Blues moving forward, with the 26-year-old being so important to the success of Maurizio Sarri’s system.
