OPINION
Kalvin Phillips has been a real star for Leeds United this season, but the side are really struggling to keep clean sheets with him being played in the centre of the defence. The 23-year-old has to hold his hands up and take the blame for Hull scoring the first goal when he practically passed the ball to Jarrod Bowen before he scored. In the last three games when Phillips has played in defence, United have conceded six goals, which just shows that Marcelo Bielsa needs to think about starting Aapo Halme in that position so that Phillips can return to the midfield. Phillips has been good this season but it is no shock to see a section of Leeds supporters tearing him to shreds for his display against Hull because he simply isn’t good enough as a centre-back. With the January transfer window opening soon, Bielsa has to go out and sign a new centre-back because his side’s promotion hopes could be destroyed by not having a solid back-line.

Terrible decision there. Needed smashing down the park. There's a time and a place for passing out from the back. That situation wasn't it
