OPINION
Under previous manager Steve Bruce, Albert Adomah was not the best of players and he did not seem to perform when he was on the pitch. Fast forward to now however, and under new boss Dean Smith, Adomah looks a completely different player. He was dreadful at the start of this ‘-‘ over Birmingham City, but his play along the flank eventually led to a superb cross for Jack Grealish to head the hosts in front in the first half. One supporter said that this game was the best he had played in a long time, while one said that he was having Birmingham’s left-backs ‘on toast’ – and it is hard not to agree with them. The Villa faithful will no doubt have their fingers crossed that he can maintain this type of form for the remainder of the season, especially with a promotion bid on the books.

Props to Adomah. Thought Harding had the better of him but the first 30 but then steps up to provide two assists. Looks a new player under Smith.
