OPINION
Celtic head into the break at 1-0 up against Hamilton Academical at New Douglas Park on Saturday afternoon, and many fans have been drooling over Ryan Christie in the first-half. After a cagey opening spell it was Christie who gave the Hoops the lead when he fired home after a corner. The 23-year-old has had a season to remember so far, and this goal follows him signing a new long-term deal with the club after such an impressive start to the campaign. Christie has bounced back so well from so many years in the wilderness at Parkhead, and is really beginning to show his worth for Brendan Rodgers. He is now a nailed-on starter for the Hoops, and that is unlikely to change if he keeps putting in displays like this. Overall it wasn’t the best half for the Hoops, but Christie’s goal has given them something to work with heading into the second period.

We're going to have to talk about Ryan Christie. Scott Brown suddenly looks like Celtic's 5th best midfielder. That's no disrespect to him btw. These other lads are absolutely flying right now and making themselves close to undroppable. Guess 5 good options is a great thing
