Celtic mainstay Scott Brown has delivered a gushing Twitter verdict on teammate James Forrest after he bagged a brace for Scotland on Saturday evening.
The midfield dazzler bagged two in a rather comfortable 4-0 win over Albania in this UEFA Nations League encounter, with the other two goals coming from Ryan Fraser and Steven Fletcher. The three points mean Scotland only need to win their next clash with Israel to go top of their group and achieve promotion.
As a result, Brown has delivered his verdict on Forrest via his personal Twitter account, simply saying “wow” during his performance.

Forrest was clearly one of the standout players for Scotland on Saturday evening, so it is no surprise that his teammate has taken to Twitter to congratulate him on his performance. His brace for his country basically sums up what an incredible night he had playing Albania, and Celtic fans will no doubt be hoping that he maintains this blistering form into their next league match. It is clear to see that he has firmly established himself within the Scotland side, and there is no doubt that he will be a star for them in years to come. Scotland fans better get used to seeing his face in the team on a regular basis – as it is unlikely that he is going to be dropped any time soon. Forrest is a real talent – and Brendan Rodgers must be counting his lucky stars that he has such a player in his team.
