OPINION

Aston Villa fans have unsurprisingly taken to Twitter to rave about striker Tammy Abraham at half-time v Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night. Dean Smith’s side amazingly found themselves two goals down within six minutes of the opening whistle after two defensive lapses, but it was Abraham who inspired them to draw back level just eight minutes later. The Chelsea loanee then completed a first-half hat-trick later on as the half ended at 3-3. Abraham has been a revelation for Villa this season following his summer arrival, with the 21-year-old scoring on a regular basis for the club so far this term. Abraham’s pedigree in the Championship was well known before his arrival, with a prolific season with Bristol City two seasons ago announcing his name in the division. That kind of form has come flooding back to him in the Midlands, and Villa are the beneficiaries. These fans below were obviously impressed with his display.
