Darren Moore must axe Jay Rodriguez and James Morrison from his starting line-up if he wants to field his best possible West Brom side in their clash against Swansea at the Liberty Stadium on Wednesday night.

Although Rodriguez scored in the win against Ipswich last week, the 29-year-old’s form has been underwhelming as of late and star striker Dwight Gayle should replace him in the starting line-up to see if that can motivate the ex-Burnley forward to pick up his form for upcoming games.

Hal Robson-Kanu has played very well in the wins against Leeds and Ipswich and deserves to keep his spot in the starting line-up on the right-hand side of the front three.

As for Morrison, he clearly struggled at times in the 2-1 win at Portman Road last week and Gareth Barry should return to the starting line-up to help Albion’s midfield assert more authority on the game.

Sam Johnstone must start in goals behind a back-four of Tosin Adarabioyo, Craig Dawson, Ahmed Hegazi and Kieran Gibbs.

Even though West Brom have managed to keep just one clean sheet this season, that back-four has been a massive improvement on Moore’s back-three that he constantly selected earlier this season, so sticking with them will surely see defensive performances get better and better in the future.

Barry should be partnered by Jake Livemore in the centre of midfield with Matt Phillips ahead of them in the No 10 role after man of the match performances against Leeds and Ipswich.

Harvey Barnes and Robson-Kanu should line up on either side of the front three with Gayle spearheading the attack in the middle.

If Moore selects this starting line-up on Wednesday then Albion will surely annihilate the Swans and bag their third win in a row to continue their march up the Championship table.
