OPINION
A section of Tottenham fans have been drooling over the prospect of signing Napoli midfielder Allan after it was reported that the Premier League club is lining up a bid for the Brazil international. Calcio Napoli 24 has claimed that Spurs are plotting a £35.5million offer to sign Allan as a potential replacement for Mousa Dembele, who is looking likely to leave the club next summer when his contract expires. Tottenham will inevitably sign a new central midfielder next year, especially as Dembele is expected to move on, so should it be Allan? The midfielder has been playing very well for a Napoli team that has been Juventus’ nearest rivals in recent years. The Brazilian has the qualities that Dembele does and is younger, so he would definitely be a solid addition. It might cost Spurs a lot of money though and as one supporter points out, Napoli could demand at least £60million for Allan.

This would be a good signing for us, breaks up the play and non stop running in midfield

He's an absolute gun, but as a Napoli fan also I'd be conflicted
Napoli wanted Dembele for years too FWIW though

This would be a smart signing, but it costs money. Levy will hard pass
