Mauricio Pochettino must continue to omit Hugo Lloris from his starting line-up if he wants to field his best possible Tottenham side in their clash against Wolves on Saturday night.

Club captain Lloris, 31, has been in woeful form for Spurs this season and does not deserve to be in the side after Paulo Gazzaniga has done so well during the games he has been forced to play.

The Argentine has developed into somewhat of a fan favourite since a series of impressive displays since the start of the season, even though he is third-choice ‘keeper for Pochettino.

However Gazzaniga must get the nod to start against Wolves on Saturday because right now he is the most in-form goalkeeper that Tottenham have.

In front of the former Southampton goalkeeper, Pochettino must name a back-four of Kieran Trippier, Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez and Ben Davies. While Trippier and Davies have been poor of late, Serge Aurier was no better against West Ham while Kyle Walker-Peters may need a rest and Danny Rose is injury.

Harry Winks should start in the centre of the midfield alongside Mousa Dembele, who has some work to do on his form and he can really prove crucial in the side’s efforts against Wolves this weekend.

Erik Lamela, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen must be named to start in the attacking midfield areas with Harry Kane ahead of them as the lone-striker.

If Pochettino names this line-up for the trip to Molineux this weekend then Tottenham will annihilate Wolves and show them just how hard the Premier League actually is.
