A section of West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to call for head coach Darren Moore to be sacked after Saturday’s 1-0 defeat against Hull at the KCOM Stadium.
Albion failed to threaten the Tigers throughout the 90 minutes and they have now dropped out of the Championship play-off spots for the first time since the middle of August.
Moore’s side have now failed to win any of their last four games and that is enough for some fans to call for his head.
COMMENTARY:
Gone are the days of patience and loyalty, managers are chopped and change so regularly now that it is impossible to keep track of who manages who, especially in the Championship. Moore is edging closer to being the next manager in the league to be sacked after a horrible result away at Hull on Saturday. Some fans want him gone – a lot more than last week – and after the defeat on Humberside, you can see that there are serious issues in the club. Moore was hired because of a handful of games at the end of last season. Is that enough for someone to prove he can take a club like West Brom back to the Premier League? Absolutely not. It was an easy decision by Mark Jenkins, who was just getting ready to throw Moore under the bus if something went wrong. Moore probably won’t be sacked yet, but a run of tough fixtures are coming up and they could be his funeral.
