Rangers will look to bounce back to winning ways after a disappointing week when they travel to St. Mirren on Saturday, and Steven Gerrard must make four changes to his starting lineup.

The Light Blues crashed out of the Betfred Cup with a semi-final defeat to Aberdeen at the weekend before a lacklustre display against Kilmarnock saw them only manage a 1-1 draw on Wednesday.

Opponents St. Mirren are coming in on the back of a six-game losing streak which will give the Gers confidence that they can get back on track this weekend.

In goal, Allan McGregor must come back in for Wes Foderingham if fit.

In front of him, James Tavernier, Connor Goldson and Jon Flanagan should all keep their places, while 6ft 4in colossus Nikola Katic [Transfermarkt] should get another chance in place of Joe Worrall.

Two further changes come in midfield with the ineffective Lassana Coulibaly replaced by Ryan Jack, while Ovie Ejaria must replace Andy Halliday if he is available after injury. Scott Arfield should retain his place alongside.

On the wings, Daniel Candeias must retain his place on the right while speed machine Eros Grezda [Transfermarkt] should be handed his first start in place of Ryan Kent, who looks in need of a rest.

Alfredo Morelos must lead the line as usual.

This is a Rangers team which has more than enough to crush St. Mirren and get their Premiership campaign and season back on track after a disappointing few days.
