COMMENTARY
Wolves might have struggled to break down a resolute Huddersfield defence at Molineux on Sunday, but it did not stop the fans from taking the time to applaud their own defensive enforcer in the shape of Conor Coady for his efforts. Yes, Nuno Espirito Santo’s men might have conceded a goal in the first half but Coady was all over the Terriers’ attack when he could be, stopping them with his own brand of robust defending which harks back to the days of old. His tackles are no nonsense and leave anything in his path floored – and it is this mentality and desire to stop the opposition by any means necessary which has the Molineux faithful cheering his name. It was another case where those further up the pitch were letting those at the back down with their efforts – but at least the supporters had something to celebrate in Coady’s performance on Sunday.

Coady putting in an absolute reducer to send out a message to everyone that Wolves aren’t going to be pushed about. Brilliant by the skipper.
