Wolves suffered a huge injury blow on Monday as Spain confirmed that Jonny Castro is set for six weeks out with a knee injury, but many fans have taken to Twitter to express their excitement at seeing Ruben Vinagre replace the 24-year-old.
As confirmed by the Spanish FA, Castro suffered a tear to his LCL in his knee in their 1-0 win over Bosnia on Sunday and is set for five to six weeks on the sidelines.
Wolves fans have been reacting to the blow on Twitter, but instead of being disappointed over losing Castro, some are instead focusing on the positives of seeing 19-year-old sensation Vinagre in action.

COMMENTARY
These Wolves fans are obviously excited to see Vinagre deputise for Castro over the coming weeks, and you can understand why. The 19-year-old Portuguese flyer impressed on loan from Monaco last season despite being handed a limited role under Nuno Espirito Santo, and did enough to earn a permanent move in the summer. Vinagre is a huge talent, and is extremely highly-rated among the Wolves hierarchy. The flashes of his talent came last season have obviously alerted these Wolves fans to his potential, and he now has a huge chance to prove himself at the highest level. His young age and inexperience mean that this is set to be a testing time for him, but he has the ability to fill in for Castro seamlessly over the next six weeks. It may also be a glimpse into the future for Wolves and these fans, with Castro only at the club on loan from Atletico Madrid, meaning Vinagre is more likely to occupy that left-back spot in the long-term.
Great chance for vinagre to get some game time!

That's better than I thought. I feared months out, even the season. RV has a great chance now

Blow as he is first choice left wing back and also the reserve right wing back. Be interesting to see if Vinagre can stake a claim. #wolves #wwfc
