OPINION
The fans are right – Moussa Sissoko has been fantastic recently and he is one of the main reasons why Spurs took two goal lead going into half-time, and why they ended up winning 3-1. He completely bossed the midfield and arguably outplayed the likes of N’Golo Kante with his silky skills, and this has only happened since he was moved to the central defensive midfield role by Mauricio Pochettino. This was a very smart move by the manager and he is the one who should be praised for Sissoko’s recent success. One fan named his display as a “masterclass”, while on labelled it as “immense” – and it is hard not to agree with them. He looks like a completely new signing for Tottenham as he looks a shadow of the player that he was towards the start of the season – much to the delight of these supporters. Fingers crossed he can keep this up, because if he does, Spurs look a certainty to finish in the Premier League top-four.
