Tottenham left it late but they got the all-important win against Inter Milan at Wembley on Wednesday night.
And Gary Lineker summed it up perfectly on Twitter.
He took time out from his hosting on BT Sport to deliver his verdict on the goal that could see them qualify in unlikely fashion by beating Barcelona at the Nou Camp.
He said it was a “massive” goal that means they can go through if they match Inter’s result in the final round of matches.
He did warn that was at Barcelona but gave hope to Tottenham fans when he said that as they would already be group winners, they could rest players like Lionel Messi and other stars.
Tottenham fans can hope.
Massive goal for Spurs against Inter. Eriksen’s strike means if it remains 1-0 Spurs will go through if they can match Inter’s result in the final group game. Slight issue is that Tottenham play in Barcelona. Barça though will already be group winners so might rest Messi & co.

OPINION
This was massive for Tottenham and the big puzzler at the moment is why Christian Eriksen isn’t starting matches. He started for Denmark in the international break and he seems fit. He is also currently stalling on a new contract though and there are shades of the treatment that Pochettino dished out to Toby Alderweireld last season. We could be being paranoid, but when Eriksen was asked if that is why he hasn’t been playing he gave a very non-committal answer, saying the journalist would have to ask Pochettino that question. He was the game-changer tonight, as he has been so many times for Tottenham. If he’s fit, he needs to start. He saved Pochettino from certain elimination from the Champions League tonight. As for Barcelona, if there’s one player who can unlock their defence, it’s their midfield magician. He wasn’t the only great player tonight – Harry Winks was at it all night and Harry Kane looked sharp. But Eriksen scored the goal, and that’s what counts.
