Everton welcome Brighton to Goodison Park on Saturday, with the Toffees aiming to avenge their defeat to Manchester United last weekend.

United beat Everton 2-1 last Sunday thanks to goals from Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial, and Marco Silva will no doubt be hoping to return to winning ways against the Seagulls.

They have recorded three wins on the bounce which means they have not been struggling for form recently, but their away form is a lot to be desired.

Silva must try and stick with the majority of the side which lost to the Red Devils last time out, but he must make one change in personnel to guarantee victory over the South Coast club.

In goal, Jordan Pickford must start as normal.

In defence, mainstay Seamus Coleman must retain his place at right-back over Jonjoe Kenny, with Kurt Zouma and Lucas Digne also being rewarded for their consistent form.

Silva’s one change must come in the shape of summer recruit Yerry Mina, with the 6ft 5in [Transfermarkt] player yet to make his debut for the Toffees in the centre of defence.

In midfield, Andre Gomes must keep his place after the blistering form he has been in for the last two matches, while Idrissa Gueye should be given the nod over Tom Davies to partner him in the middle of the park.

In attack, Theo Walcott, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Bernard must all keep their places, with Richarlison once again given the task of starting up front.

This is a side which has more than enough to obliterate the Seagulls if Silva goes with it, with Mina’s introduction an exciting prospect for Everton.
