Darren Moore must axe Tosin Adarabioyo and Matt Phillips from his starting line-up if he wants to field his best possible side against Hull at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday.

The Baggies boss should also switch his formation to a 4-2-3-1 and hope that Ahmed Hegazi and Gareth Barry are back up to speed after recent injuries ruled them out of the last few games.

Adarabioyo, who is earning £1.6million-a-year according to Spotrac, should be dropped from the side so Albion can switch to a back-four, with Tyrone Mears coming in as the club’s only natural right-back.

Meanwhile in attack, rarely-seen winger Oliver Burke should get just his second Championship appearance of the season on the right-wing to replace Matt Phillips, who has looked poor since his return from injury.

Sam Johnstone should start in goals behind a back-four of Mears, Craig Dawson, Hegazi and Conor Townsend, who may have to start if Kieran Gibbs is still injury.

Jake Livermore has been key to the Baggies this season and should start alongside Barry in the centre of the midfield, with James Morrison dropping out.

Burke has to start on the right-wing given his scintillating form in the Under-23s and Bakary Sako should earn his second appearance for the Baggies on the left-wing.

Harvey Barnes is a no-brainer to start in the attack midfield position and Jay Rodriguez must start ahead of him as the lone striker given the fact that Dwight Gayle could be out injured again.
