Leeds United are looking to bring in a goalkeeper on an emergency loan deal after it was revealed that Bailey Peacock-Farrell had been injured in training.
With Jamal Blackman back at Chelsea with a broken leg, it means that Leeds have lost both first-choice keepers and are eligible to apply for an emergency loan.
These are normally very short-term deals that would see a player come in for as little as a week or two weeks.
Phil Hay from the Yorkshire Evening Post said that Leeds were assessing their options and that one player they’re considering is Jonathan Bond from West Brom.

always options out there but time is tight. One of those mentioned in passing to me was Jonathan Bond at West Brom. Won't be David Stockdale though – he's heading on loan to Wycombe.

OPINION
25-year-old Jonathan Bond won’t be name that will excite Leeds fans who were looking at players of the calibre of Tom Heaton, David Stockdale and Kieran Westwood. He arrived on a free transfer in the summer from Reading but hasn’t made a senior appearance for the Baggie yet. He’s played his most games for Peterborough in League One, where he went on loan from Reading last season. He made 45 appearances for them, keeping 10 clean sheets. But it’s worth remembering that this is just an emergency loan and it might not be for someone to play, but just to sit on the bench. We don’t know how long Peacock-Farrell is going to be out for and Leeds could well target a more permanent option in the January window. Bond might well fit the bill for now. Either way though, with the news of Pontus Jansson also being out for the game on Saturday, today wasn’t a good day for Leeds fans.
