Leeds United might have made the most of the ability to sign players on loan over the summer window but the new arrivals have not made the impact expected at Elland Road.

Jamal Blackman, Lewis Baker and Izzy Brown all arrived on temporary deals from Chelsea while Jack Harrison made the switch from Premier League champions Manchester City, but none of the quartet have really nailed down a place in the starting XI.

Making use of top flight sides’ unused talents, especially those who are less experienced, is a great way for clubs to boost their standings without splashing serious amounts of cash, while players are given the chance to prove themselves at another level.

It seems Leeds were willing to expand their search for top quality talent being left out at big hitters to Europe at the start of the year, with top journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claiming on his website that the Whites were keen on sealing a deal for Juventus youngster Moise Kean, stating that the English outfit were looking to improve his wages over the summer in a bid.

Obviously the move never came off and Kean, an 18-year-old striker sensation, remained at Juve, going on to act as regular cover on the bench and even making a Champions League appearance.

However, the teenager has admitted his future is very uncertain – so could Leeds be in line for another shot at his signing?

He told Rai Sport, as quoted by Corriere Dello Sport: “In January I stay? Now I do not know yet, I train and then see the company.”

If there is any chance of him leaving, Leeds must be looking at reigniting their former hunt, for his capture would stun their rivals with his calibre.

Yes, he might only be a teenager but he is without doubt one of the hottest young talents around and having him on board would take the Whites’ performances up a gear.

Pacey, strong and with goals to his name at all levels, he would get Elland Road on their feet with his attacking prowess.
