A section of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to express their delight at Eros Grezda’s performance for Albania in the team’s 2-0 defeat to Israel on Sunday evening.
The rarely-seen Gers winger played the full 90 minutes for his country, who are in the same UEFA Nations League group as Scotland.
Many Rangers supporters were impressed with Grezda.

COMMENTARY:
Rangers fans would not normally tune into Israel-Albania, which puts the ‘low’ into ‘low-key’ as far as international matches go, but there is great interest in Grezda, the winger signed for around £2.5million in the summer but who has suffered injury problems and barely been seen in a blue jersey. He has accumulated just 53 first-team minutes to date as he works on getting back to speed and honing his match fitness. Certainly, the full 90 minutes for Albania will only help the forward, whose speed, mobility and tricks could add a new dimension to the Rangers attack as the season progresses. The likes of Daniel Candeias, Ryan Kent and Ovie Ejaria have been used as the wide attackers since James Murphy suffered the cruel knee injury that is likely to sideline him for the entire season. Grezda offers something different and some encouraging signs for Albania can only help Rangers.
Find my self watching Israel v Albania here. Eros Grezda playing no bad so far. Hopefully gets the 90. Get him up to speed!
