West Brom are looking to reignite their plot to raid Blackburn Rovers for their midfield goal machine Bradley Dack after failing in the summer, according to journalist Alan Nixon.

The Sun writer claims on his personal Twitter account that the Baggies, who Nixon claimed made a move for the 24-year-old in a deadline day bid before the end of the transfer window, are set to make yet another move for the red hot maestro, who has been dazzling in the Championship this season.

Dack, who netted 18 goals from midfield in League One last season, has continued his fine form into the current campaign, netting seven in nine appearances as well as chipping in with five assists for his teammates.

Good move for West Brom?

Dack certainly has shown that he has what it takes to be a success in the second tier after his dazzling displays in the third rung of English football, and the only question is by how much his price will have rocketed up between summer and January.

The Baggies hardly need a man like Dack in their side right now, with free flowing attacks and the talents of Harvey Barnes pulling strings in the same position, but at the same time they would love to have a midfielder who nets at such an alarming rate.

His performances will have not just the Baggies but other Championship and even Premier League sides looking at his capture, which shows that he would be a welcome addition at the Hawthorns.

Likely to happen?

It all depends on the price Blackburn want and whether Dack is ready himself to make that step up.

Blackburn are battling for survival, West Brom for promotion, and while he is playing a star role at Ewood Park, he might be settling for a rotation role at first at the Hawthorns.

Rovers are unlikely to sell cheap – understandable, considering how valuable he is to the club – and therefore this might be a move which has to wait a couple more months until next summer.
