A section of Tottenham fans on Twitter have been left thrilled by a report claiming that Eddie Howe would be considered to be the next manager of the club.
The Telegraph has reported that Howe would be the number one candidate to replace Mauricio Pochettino in North London if the Argentine was to leave his post at any time in the near future.
Some Spurs fans are happy with the thought of the Bournemouth manager replacing Pochettino, with one saying that he is “right up Levy’s street”.

OPINION
It may not be a conversation worth having for a while but club chiefs should always keep an open mind when it comes to their manager because things can change with a flick of a switch. If Spurs suddenly start to suffer from horrendous form then Pochettino could go or if a big club like Real Madrid comes in he could also go. These kind of things can happen whenever and Daniel Levy looks as though Howe would be his go-to man if Pochettino was to quit the North London club. Tottenham fans normally hate the idea of talking about him eventually leaving one day, but these fans are happy that Levy could turn to Howe as his replacement. He has done a fantastic job at Bournemouth and deserves a shot with one of the top-six clubs after what he has done on the south coast. As the one fan says, Howe would be a good fit to work alongside Levy.
