Rangers have taken significant steps to end the leaks that have previously come out of Ibrox as they look to limit the amount of knowledge the media has access to, according to club insider Four Lads Had a Dream.

The reputable blog and Twitter account, who have a proven track record of insider links with the Light Blues, report in their latest post on their website that the club have taken “considerable measures” to stop those in the media from knowing what was going on behind the scenes as they look to instil a new, high level of professionalism.

It is stated that the actions mean that everyone at Ibrox is pulling in the same direction, in a positive move for the club.

Opinion

There have indeed been a number of leaks out of Ibrox which have not been great reading for the club and so this new direction that the Gers are taking can only help their cause. Far too often was the Light Blues’ dirty laundry being aired in public and it often came at the expense of performances on the pitch. It seems as though it could be Steven Gerrard who has taken action to shut the barricades at Ibrox and make sure nothing leaves without his or the management’s consent, and considering the positive attitude around the club right now it seems to have had the desired effect. Of course that is not to say that there are not still things happening behind the scenes but it is not leaked to the public any more, and it means things can be dealt with in house before the media latch a hold on it. It is just another positive step in the Gerrard reign, and seems to be paying dividends.
