Rangers midfielder Andy Halliday was spotted cringing at a restaurant as staff wished him happy birthday on Thursday with a huge blue cake and a song.
An Instagram clip posted by the midfielder’s partner Jilly showed the player looking embarrassed as staff serenaded him on his 27th birthday.
The cake was littered with throwback boyhood pictures of lifelong Ger Halliday and the video generated more than 14,000 views within 24 hours of it being posted.

With another week still to go in the international break, even the Rangers nutritionists won’t mind Halliday having a slice of cake to celebrate his birthday.
