A section of Tottenham fans took to Twitter to rave about Hugo Lloris for his performance in their team’s 1-0 Premier League win against West Ham.
Lloris has come under criticism for his performances this season, most notably with a horrible blunder in the 4-2 Champions League defeat to Barcelona before the international break.
But many supporters were delighted with the goalkeeper for pulling off a series of outstanding saves to keep West Ham at bay on Saturday.

COMMENTARY:
It’s fair to say Spurs would not have chalked up a third consecutive league win were it not for an outstanding second-half performance from their goalkeeper. Lloris has had a disrupted campaign in which he missed six matches due to a thigh injury and also endured the humiliation of a drink-drive conviction. But when he produces performances of this quality, it is little wonder Mauricio Pochettino keeps the faith. The France World Cup winner pulled off a stunning save to deny Marko Arnautovic early in the second half with the score at 1-0 and a number of other very fine stops, including another brilliant one in injury time, as West Ham threw everything at Tottenham during the second period. He oozed assuredness and composure just when Spurs looked likely to buckle. That is the measure of a top-class operator, and the north Londoners would not have kept their bitter rivals from the East End at bay were it not for a revitalised Lloris.
